About me

Since I was a child, I have always loved three things: learning foreign languages, art and Italy. So there is nothing strange in the fact that I have been living for many years in Milan and I am a professional translator, interpreter and tourist guide.

  • My mother tongue is Russian and I am fluent in Ukrainian, Italian and English. I have also a passive knowledge of French, but I hope to recover it soon.
  • In 1998 I graduated with full marks in International Relations at the Institute of International Relations, Kiev National University and got as well a diploma of interpreter from French into Russian and Ukrainian.
  • In 2000 I started working as a freelance translator and interpreter, weaving my passion to languages into my job. Among my numerous private and public customers there are the Piccolo Teatro (Little Theatre) of Milan, Milan Chamber of Commerce, the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (I.C.E.), governments of the province of Milan and of the Lombardy region, Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce, Ferroli S.p.A., Italian Touring Club Italiano etc.
  • I am registered as an expert interpreter and translator for Russian and Ukrainian at the Chamber of Commerce and at the Court of Milan (No. 11400), therefore I am entitled to swear and legalise translations of documents destined for private or corporate use in Italy and abroad.
  • In 2009 I passed the qualifying exam for the Tourist Guide license and lead city tours in Milan in Russian or Ukrainian languages.
  • My strengths are punctuality, precision, attention to details and reliability.
